Ten on Tuesday [No.6]

Hey y'all!

Welcome to a new edition of Ten on Tuesday!
I hope y'all have had a great week this past week-I'm so glad to finally be able to share with y'all what has been going on in my life, so let's jump into it.

ONE
After I posted last week's Ten on Tuesday & had settled down to work on one of my April Goals, I got a phone call that would forever change my life.
See, my sweet Grandma who was 86, but the picture of life had passed away.
It was very sudden and unexpected & it has left a hole in her family and friend's hearts.

I love this shot of her and my Grandpa Claude from my wedding!

It's been a hard week, but we are so thankful for all the prayers & love we have received.

Y'all, hold your loved ones closer & make sure to spend time with your parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents!

She and my Grandpa Claude had an amazing relationship, they loved to laugh with each other!

She was unique, fun, wise, beautiful, and absolutely one-of-a-kind...I hope to be like her one day :)

TWO
Alright, onto more happy things :)

My husband knows exactly how to relax me and cheer me up, that's trips to the farm.
Friday evening, after a long day, we headed to the farm at dusk; the air was cool and it was just beautiful outside.

Y'all are probably so tired of seeing these trees make appearances on the blog, but they're my favorite part of our farm!

THREE
I know it's wedding season, so I wanted to resurrect this post all about Planning Your Honeymoon.
It's got great tips for planning & executing a fun trip with you and your honey :)

FOUR

These are my desk essentials and y'all-I can't do without any of them!

Bath & Body Works is my staple store for any body care and I've been using the Winter Candy Apple hand cream and Holly Jolly Berry hand sanitizer since Christmas.

And for my lips I use the EOS lip balm in Sweet Mint which is a favorite; it goes on clear and leaves your breath smelling minty and fresh. And of course I use my Maybelline Baby Lips for just a sheer wash of color that doesn't require a mirror.

My cute little clips are all from Target of course ;)

FIVE
If you've been keeping up with April the Giraffe and her baby, then you need to read this article!

SIX
According to Southern Living I need to visit the Commander's Palace when Christopher & I visit New Orleans this Summer; it was voted the South's best restaurant for 2017!

SEVEN
There's just something about animals in Springtime; I've so enjoyed seeing both my horses and my pup frolic around this time of year.

Wrangler is my old man who's looking better than ever.

Forrest has been enjoying afternoons by the pond and fetching endless sticks.
He's crazy about the water!

EIGHT

Yesterday was well spent checking off one of my most fun April goals; having lunch and a shopping date with my sister in Birmingham!
My mom & other sister even tagged along, which made it more fun :)

We tried out Taco Mama at the Summit and it was delicious; also celebrating Margarita Monday with a Pomegranate Marg was a perfect kick off to the week.

And on our window shopping trip to Lush, I discovered that I really need to upgrade to the newest iPhone or either convince my sister to be my new blog-tographer because her phone takes amazing shots!

NINE
Speaking of fun drinks-this recipe for Blushing Mimosas sounds so yummy!
How perfect would that be for a bridal shower or bachelorette party? Especially with that name!

TEN
Y'all know after reading last week's Ten on Tuesday that I'm obsessed with doing some re-doing our outdoor spaces...well now I think I've got it in my head that we need to change up our door color, thanks to this Southern Living article.
I think navy blue or light blue would really pop in our neighborhood and make our house look so much more fresh!

Well, that's all for this week!
Let me know below what you're up to or what you're loving this week!

Until next time. . .

xoxo,
