Thirsty Thursday-the Drunken Pumpkin

Happy Thursday, y'all! Thursday is actually my "Friday" so I have a good reason to drink.

How fun is the name of this week's cocktail? I stumbled upon this recipe on Pinterest and when I clicked on the link I discovered that it led back to none other than my sweet Kiss My Southern Sass sister's blog, that would be SoFlaGrlProbz.com.

Since it's technically fall now (thanks Labor Day) and Pumpkin Spice is officially back at Starbie's, this drink was just too good to pass up.

For this perfect fall concoction you need:
2 Parts Rum Chata
1 Part Pinnacle Pumpkin Pie Vodka

Combine these two in a shaker with ice, shake a few times to combine, then pour over ice in a tall glass (extra points if it's a Starbucks tumbler!)

Until next time. . . . stay thirsty my friends (jk jk)

Thirsty Thursday

Every Thursday should be Thirsty-Thursday, but this Thursday especially because it's my last Thursday night before I begin classes again!

The theme for all of my recent posts has been Fall, so this post is no different.
Since I've been twenty-one for two months now, I'm still exploring all of the fantastic drink combinations that are out there & I love the unique combinations that my fellow bloggers put together!

My Tip It On Back Pinterest board combines many of the drinks that I eventually plan to try, but the one that has caught my eye most recently is the Apple Pie on the Rocks from the blog Vegan Yack Attack!

This drink contains:

1 oz. Vanilla Vodka
1 oz. Fireball Whiskey
4 oz. Apple Juice
Pinch of Ground Cinnamon
Brown Sugar for the rim
Ice
(Optional; Cinnamon stick for garnish)

All you have to do is wet the rim of your glass slightly & then rim with the brown sugar.
Then, in a shaker combine vodka, fireball, apple juice, and cinnamon together with your ice.
Shake a few times & then carefully pour into your glass (make sure not to mess up the brown sugar rim!)
Serve it chilled & with a cinnamon stick for garnish if you'd like.

Perfect for a crisp, fall evening! Make this for yourself or for a group of friends, you just can't go wrong!

Try it out & let me know what you think!

xoxo, SS
