Christmas Gift Guide: For Her

Some of the links below are affiliate links-thank you for supporting Southern & Style by using these links at no additional cost to you!
Y'all, now that Thanksgiving has passed...I am all about Christmas!

I've already tackled some of my Christmas gifts, but I'm still searching for the perfect ones for a few of my family and friends.

If you're searching for the perfect gift for your mom, sister, daughter, best friend, girl friend, or even your grandmother-this is the gift guide for you!

I included things in all different price ranges & I would be delighted to receive any of these for myself, so I personally think they're all winners ;)
Winter Tote
I tend to like to change my bag at the change of the seasons-especially because during the summer months I tend to carry a cross body bag because carrying a heavy tote in the Southern summers is not my idea of fun.
I love choosing a pretty brown or black leather bag for winter-it's perfect for tucking a scarf into when you enter a warm shop or restaurant as well!

If you have ever been to Disney World or are a Disney fanatic, then you need to try out one of these candles.
They not only smell exactly like your favorite Disney things (think the Floridian and Dole Whips) but are great quality soy candles.
This specific one smells like hazelnut coffee and sweet pastries and cookies!

If you've never smelled Amazing Grace by Philosophy, you're missing out.
Once you smell it, you'll be tempted to keep this set for yourself!
Honestly, my favorite part about gift sets like this one is that you can either give it all as one gift (maybe to your mom or grandma?) or you can break it apart and give one item per person (maybe to your three best friends or sisters?)
This includes a shower gel, eau de toilette, and firming body emulsion & is only $50, but the value is almost $80!

This is the absolute best buy on the entire gift guide, these earrings are less than $10!
They are such a trendy statement and for $10 they could be teacher gifts for your kids teachers, co-worker gifts, Dirty Santa presents, stocking stuffers...or even a little something to treat yourself!

At the end of the day, after you've fed all your guests or been traveling all across the country to celebrate Christmas with all of your family & friends, what you want most is to be cozy!
These slippers are less than $50 & are so, so soft and comfortable.
These even have hard bottoms so they're ideal for stepping outside to take the dog out or check the mail.

These could go along with the slippers above for the ultimate cozy gift!
I love the Christmasy colors & I think it would be adorable to wear these if your family all wears pajamas the night before Christmas...think of the Instagrams!

I've heard this called the teddy bear vest and I understand why, it's like wrapping yourself in a hug!
The color is great & it would be an awesome gift for a girlfriend or daughter...or even a stylish mama!

I am a firm believer in giving killer beauty products as gifts because many times, people love high end beauty but don't want to splurge on themselves.
Tarte has amazing quality brushes & while the ones pictured are from 2016-the updated ones for 2017 are beautiful as well.

I purchased one of these at the Vera Bradley outlet a few months ago and even though we have a massive collection of "couch blankets" this one has become a favorite between both myself and my husband.
It's just the right price to gift as a dirty santa or office Christmas party gift, but would also be awesome to give to anyone on your list.
It comes in more patterns than this one, so be sure to check and see what all is available!

Y'all, this cardigan is so good.
I'm wearing it right now as I put together this post, I wear it almost every day at some point at work.
It's the softest thing you've ever curled up in and worth every single cent that was spent on it.
If I could afford to, I would give this to all of my grandmothers, my mother, my sisters, my neighbors, my veterinarian, people I see at the grocery store.
In all seriousness, I would give this to everyone if I could!

Well y'all, that's it for this Gift Guide for Her!
I hope this helped ease your shopping anxiety, especially since every link takes you straight to that product :)

Keep your eyes peeled for my other Christmas content, coming soon!

Until next time. . .

Christmas Under $40!

Hey y'all!

I know that most of us are already putting up Christmas trees & hanging up stockings, but at our house we're a little more traditional...my husband won't even help me decorate until after Thursday!

So to tide over my Christmas cravings, I decided to get a jump start on some gift guides.
This one is for the people in your life that you love to shower with gifts, but maybe you just don't have very deep pockets (I'm raising my hand!)

These would be perfect options for sisters, friends, mothers, co-workers...the list is endless!

Some of my favorites are the Kate Spade journal that says, "Moments of Genius" and the "Pardon my French" tote-they're just so cheeky & I think any girl would love to have them!

The widget below is completely shop-able, so all you have to do is click on the product and it will take you right to the page where you can buy.

And don't forget about signing up for eBates to get cash back on all of your holiday purchases online! What I'm loving most about eBates right now is that it finds all the possible coupon codes for you and applies them, I'm all about trying to save as much money as possible this holiday season :)

Be on the lookout for upcoming gift guides, I'm planning on doing one for Him, one for Stocking Stuffers, and one more for Her!

Until next time. . .

Fall Bucket List

Y'all, I have had a break-through.

Saturday I woke up early & spent the rainy morning sipping a pumpkin spice chai tea latte, burning my farmstand apple doughnut candle (seriously, it smells so good), and relaxing in our cool house under my favorite blanket.
I decided that I wanted it to start feeling like Fall-so even though if I were to go outside, I would still break a sweat...I'm determined to start Fall-even if it's just inside for now.

Below are my plans wishlist for Fall, let me know what you're planning to do this Fall in the comments!

I'm most excited about the potential of attending an Auburn game (crossing my fingers for that one!)

We already have plans for the state fair...this year I think we're going to ditch the Alabama State Fair & go to the Georgia State Fair, John Michael Montgomery is performing & that makes my 90's country-loving heart happy.

And of course I've already broken into the Fall candles, I just couldn't resist...here are a couple of my current faves-you can shop them directly from the widget :)

I hope you enjoyed a little glimpse into what I have on my schedule for Fall & that you'll tell me what you're anticipating about the season below.

Until next time. . .

Skin Care Favorites

Hey y'all!

Fall has just about arrived in Alabama, meaning that somedays it's going to be a cool and comfortable seventy degrees, some days you're going to sweating in eighty degree weather, and even other days you're going to be feeling the nippy winter-like sixty degree weather.

With all the changes happening with the changing of the seasons, my skin is also changing on me-meaning that I need to be more diligent with my skin care routine.
Now I'm not one of those girls that will tell you that you need to use one skin care line for every part of your routine-I don't always feel like that is the answer!

Today I'm sharing with you what I use every single day without fail & so far it hasn't let me down...my skin is better than ever!

Biore Charcoal Pore Strips
I've been using the original Biore nose strips for as long as I can remember, but Biore has stepped up their game with the charcoal version.
I use these when I feel like my pores are getting clogged (after heavy makeup days, etc.) and they always do the job. And peeling them off is just so satisfying...am I right?

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes
I go through boxes and boxes of these, they're just a great product and easy to use.
While they aren't my only method of taking my makeup off, they do get the trace amounts left behind after I use my oil and cleanser.

Valentia Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer
I've been using Valentia products for a little over a year now and I like each one that I've used.
They have high quality ingredients & their packaging is like no other.
If I only had time to apply one product in the AM it would be this moisturizer because it's so light on your skin, but truly does give you a glow...plus it smells slightly like fruit loops, it's addictive!

Exuviance Gentle Cleansing Creme
This face wash is the best one that I've ever tried.
It's gentle and creamy, it gets makeup off like no other, and I can use it daily and it never, ever irritates my skin.
This bottle also lasted me forever, I can't wait until my new bottle arrives!

Valentia Night Revive Retinol Serum
I love using nightly serums & trying different ones out.
I just finished up the Royal Rose Serum by Valentia and this one was my next pick.
Things I've noticed since using this product; my breakouts are fewer, my skin tone seems better, & I've seen reduced redness.
The retinol in it is supposed to encourage cell turnover so hopefully using it will keep my skin looking younger-longer!

Burt's Bees Cleansing Oil
I got this product in a Target Beauty Box & at first I didn't really see the point in using it...my skin naturally is more oily so I didn't want to add more oil to my face!
But it takes off makeup so gently & easily and leaves my face feeling so soft.
I haven't noticed any skin problems associated with using this & it takes off even my mascara-I'd call that a double win!

Tula Revitalizing Eye Cream
A few months ago I won a gift card to Tula and chose the tester kit with a few sample sizes of products. I've used them all up by now (they're all amazing!) but this one is lasting forever-for that I am thankful!
I've tried out dozens of eye creams and gels in the past few years and this one is hands down my favorite.
It's very rich & creamy, so it hydrates my under eye area very well.
I love that it seems to help the dark circles too, something that late nights will always give you!

I hope y'all enjoyed my skin-care round-up and maybe found some new products to test out for yourselves, these are honestly tried and true favorites of mine that I typically keep in a constant rotation.

Until next time. . .
