Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep

It's been a while since I've shared my night-time routine with y'all

(have I even shared it before?)

Well, either way-today is the day!

Before bed, I have a certain routine that I use pretty much every night to help me wind down & rest.
& that rest is pretty much essential because as a college student & new wife
I'm constantly running around!

By my bed I like to keep a Lilly Pulitzer tumbler full of water in case I wake up thirsty in the middle of the night.
I love to use Yes! To Carrots facial moisturizer (AM & PM)-especially since my face has been peeling from a sunburn!

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned my Q & A a Day book before, but it's one of my all-time faves.
You answer a question a day in this little journal & then you can do it for 5 years, then you look back on your answers :)

I also keep a regular journal for day-to-day stuff, this one is from TJ Maxx & says "I Am Grateful for This Day"

I also love to read a chapter or two of a good book before bedtime, it really helps clear my mind.
I've been reading Her Brother's Keeper by Beth Wiseman right now & y'all
I know it may seem weird to read about Amish people, but maybe it's the fact that I've always
loved reading about other groups of people/religions/etc.
but this book was fascinating.
It's about an "English" girl sneaking into the Amish world to discover the reasons behind why her brother who turned Amish committed suicide.
If you enjoy a novel with a little mystery, this might be the one for you :)

This little baby right here is what makes my bedtime routine go so smoothly,
it's simply called Restful Sleep & y'all it really works.
What I love is that it has all natural ingredients so I don't have to worry about it making me feel funny.
Without it, I can't sleep through the night.
With it, I fall asleep within 30 minutes to an hour after taking it (depending on if I take it right before bed or a few minutes before I go back to bed).

The best part about it...this company is offering The Southern Stylista's readers 20% off with the code SAVEREST!

Just visit the site linked above & you'll be able to snag your own little bottle.

This is how I have to go to sleep each night. . .

Do you have a nightly routine?
Any tips & tricks for sleeping better?

Until next time. . .

xoxo,
