It feels like I've been gone from the blogging-world for so long!
But now I'm back with one of my favorite things to post...a product review!
Everyone knows that I am a firm believer in Ipsy; each month for only $10 you get a cute little makeup bag filled with different beauty products that are specifically tailored to you for you to try out. Here is the link if you're interested in seeing what it's all about.
I absolutely love seeing these little pink packages waiting for me at my doorstep!
I was pretty obsessed with the makeup bag this month, the orange polka dots are so cute! I ended up using it as a pencil/pen pouch for my backpack at school, but you'll see that in my post later this week about how I organize myself for school.
Here is a close-up of the five products offered in the bag this month.
And here is a review of each individual product...
The Coastal Scents Shadow Palette in the shades (in order TL, TR, BL, and BR) Elven Midnight, Candlelight, Deep Eggplant, and Vibrant Blue.
I'm honestly not too crazy about this color palette, I usually lean toward browns and golds because of my eyes and I haven't had the opportunity to wear these colors yet, but I swatched them and they are very pigmented. I checked out the other colors offered by Coastal Scents and they offer so many other beautiful colors. In fact, you can receive 25% off your order from Coastal Scents when you use the code blush25off at checkout!
This is a full-sized version of the product 24/7 Velvet Glide-On Eye Pencil in the shade Plushie.
When I first opened this, I was thinking, "When will I ever use a purple eye liner?" But as it turns out this shade is a really dark purple, almost black and I actually love it! It wears so well and stays on all day.
This is the Manna Kadar Sheer Glo incandescent liquid. I wasn't crazy about this, but as a highlighter it does a pretty good job. The finish is very dewy and fresh, so maybe if it came in a full-sized product I would have liked it more.
Right now you can receive 20% off plus a free sample of Liplocked with the code IPSY20 here.
Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk, this was probably my most-disappointing find in my Glam Bag this month, mostly because I wash my hair every single night. But it smells really nicely and I do plan to try it out eventually when I have a really rushed morning!
You can receive 15% off any Klorane purchase at DermStore.Com with the code IPSYAUG
Last but certainly not least is the Jersey Shore Sun Mongongo Lip Conditioner.
This ChapStick is AMAZING & when it runs out, I'm going to have to buy more because it's that good. It goes on so smoothly and makes my lips feel so soft.
When you use the code IPSY50 you can receive 50% off all Jersey Shore Sun Lip Conditioners at JerseyShoreSun.com that makes this only $2.50! That's a steal!
I can't wait until next month to see what Ipsy will send next month in the September Glam Bag, sign up now to make sure you get yours too!
