Friday Favorites; Fall Bottoms

Happy Friday, y'all!

I keep thinking that if I post about Fall enough on the blog, it will eventually begin to feel like Fall here in Alabama, but no such luck yet.

I've been on the lookout during my recent shopping trips (be on the lookout for a haul post!) for lots of items that I can buy now that will transition from late Summer all the way into Fall and I've come to realize that there are a lot more options out there than I first believed!

Here are some of my favorites:

Perfect Bottoms for Fall; Asymmetrical Maxi skirt, Printed Palazzo Pants, Plaid skirt with tights, Distressed Jeggings, J.Crew Plaid Skirt, and Dark Boot-Cut Jeans

Asymmetrical Maxi Skirt:
It's been said that the maxi skirt is simply a more put-together version of yoga pants because of the comfort level & this maxi skirt isn't any different, plus the asymmetrical hem is so much fun!
I love neutral bottoms & this black fits the bill. Plus, the angles on the bottom give it a playful, flirty side! And for only $24, it doesn't get much better than that.

Printed Palazzo Pants:
Urban Outfitters always gets the job done & this is no exception. These pants are meant to be breezy and comfortable, especially if you're a teacher or another profession that has to dress nicely but stand up all day-these are the perfect marriage of dressy & comfy!
They come in a variety of colors, but I loved this paisley print in such great, warm Fall colors.

Plaid Skater Skirt:
Plaid automatically makes me think of Fall & this skirt is no different. I love the colors of it & the idea of pairing it with these printed tights and a pair of tall riding boots makes me all warm inside!
The skirt is only $40 & you're all going to be shocked when I tell you that it's from Abercrombie & Fitch! The tights are only $9.99 from Daily Look.

Distressed Jeggings:
I love a good skinny jean, in fact I own about four different pairs in different shades myself. They work so well for the end of Summer cuffed with a wedge and then all the way into Winter with riding boots or cuffed with booties. This distressed pair give an outfit a more edgy look, which I like.

J.Crew Jacquard Skirt:
This is without a doubt the pricest thing I included in the whole post, but it's handpicked fabric just screams to be a part of my closet. Plus, it has pockets & what girl doesn't love a skirt with pockets? Save up all the money out of your piggy-bank and go get this skirt now while J.Crew still has them in stock!

Boot-Cut Dark Wash Jeans:
Calvin Klein has been around forever & do you want to know why? Because their products are well made and can stand the test of time. These jeans are a classic wardrobe item from a classic brand. Every girl should have at least one pair of good boot-cut jeans in her closet, I love to wear mine over my cowboy boots to concerts or dinners with my boyfriend. They're just a really good staple & this pair for only $70 is a steal.

Are you ready to put aside your sundresses and sandals?
I'm torn, but I do know that I'm ready for plaid & to not sweat when I walk out the front door!

Until next time. . .
xoxo, SS
