Ten on Tuesday [No.51]

Some of the links below are affiliate links. Thank you for using these in support of Southern & Style at no additional cost to you!

ONE
A few weeks ago, Chris had a dentist appointment so Charlie & I went with him-well we dropped him off and I ventured to Target for my first trip solo with Charlie.
Let's just say, we got in and out within twenty minutes (that's basically unheard of with Target!)
He needed a diaper change and after I took care of that, he needed to eat so we just grabbed the necessities. It definitely gave me lots of respect for all of you Mama's with multiple littles!
 TWO
Have any of y'all been watching any of the new shows on this Fall?!
I've been watching Grey's Anatomy of course, but I started Manifest as well and I'm loving it so far!
Here's 5 Reasons Manifest is the Only Good "Lost" Copycat
I'm also watching Harlots on Hulu and the second season might be better than the first!
THREE
Charlie will be two months old next week (how?!) and I'll be doing a full recap then of course of his second month, but until then I just want y'all to know that I'm obsessed with my diaper bag!
It's gender neutral so we can use it for any baby's we might have, Chris doesn't mind carrying it, but I honestly would carry it for myself after Charlie outgrows needing it!
Mine is in the tan color, for reference.
FOUR
This is just going to be where I dump all of the cute Charlie pictures from the week-'cause you know I've got to put them somewhere!
His favorite place to sleep is on his Daddy, it's the sweetest!
We are big lovers of sleeping on our boppy (supervised, y'all!) and our sweet Halloween pajamas!
I could just eat up those monster feet!

FIVE
'Tis the season for Fall candles, right?!
This is my favorite month to burn pumpkin candles like this one because they remind me of pumpkin pie (one of my favorite parts of Thanksgiving!)
SIX
Are you gearing up for Christmas already?!
It's taking all of my self control to not bust out our Christmas tree just yet...but while I wait, I'm perusing the internet for all the Christmas inspiration.
Buffalo plaid has been a huge trend already for the season and I think this stocking & this tree skirt are beautiful and won't break the bank this season!
SEVEN
If I had a little girl, you best bet this would be under the tree this year, but alas I  guess I'll just have to enjoy it from afar.
EIGHT
Sweet Charlie's first Halloween didn't go exactly as planned, I had made Charlie a chicken costume, but the feathers just didn't mesh well with a 7 week old-so we opted for a cowboy costume that we could put together out of his wardrobe at home. He was just about the cutest thing I saw all night!
NINE
We just had a steer come back from the processor...so now our entire freezer is stocked full of beef-my favorite!
I've been scouring the internet for recipes to use our ground beef & Southern Living has a roundup of 40 that sound delicious and will definitely help expand our dinner menu.
TEN
Our sweet Forrest has been making a lot of trips to Auburn to the University's vet clinic lately so we've been taking Charlie to Auburn a lot.
He's had his first visit to Acre, my all-time favorite restaurant.
I had the most amazing salmon salad for lunch that day, I never knew I liked radishes until I tried them at Acre on that salad.

And of course we had to take Charlie (& Forrest's!) picture with the Toomer's Oaks and Samford Hall.
Last Friday, Forrest's vet Dr.A (who is AMAZING!) removed a mast cell tumor from behind his elbow. She said they had good margins and within the week we'll have pathology results to see what grade the tumor was. She didn't want his cute face to have to wear the cone of shame, so she bought him his very own Auburn t-shirt to wear to cover his incision-so sweet!
That's just one of the reasons why we love our new vet.

Well y'all, that's what we've been up to over the past few weeks-let me know below what you've been doing!

Until next time. . .
xoxo,
